JG black box

so I got the JG black box.

it has a spring comparable to the m120, so should i just put in a Madbull m120 or keep the stock one?,

cheers

the stock one is MUCH easier to pull than the Madbull M120 spring, and they still give the same velocity.

Madbull springs are quite low in quality imho, it's so friggen stiff, and still doesn't provide the juice it should.

so in conclusion, keep the stock one.

That's what he said. Apparently you don't read.

He said "it has a spring COMPARABLE to an m120". Dusti was saying that he heard they ARE m120s.

I have a liking for the Prometheus MS110SP. It delivers about 360-370 fps (depending on barrel length). Add a good hopup rubber like guarder and a 6.03mm tightbore, and you're shooting just below the 400 fps limit. It's easier for the motor to pull, resulting in higher rate of fire. I have that setup in my CA M15 and it shoots 385 with .2s, which is perfect IMO.

My JG HK416 (same mechbox) settled to 390 fps stock, which is what the normal JG box should. I added a guarder rubber and bucking and a longer tightbore (14.5" instad of the stock 10"), and it's now shooting 430. I now have to downgrade to the MS110SP to get the gun legal.

"M120" is a velocity rating, not a brand.
