Hk416 stock....

So I purchased a HK416 stock to replace the fullstock on my TM m4, the gun is rewired. How/where do I place the battery wires.....seems like theirs no "place" for them, unless I need to buy something else? I have the metal tube that the HK416 slides on.

Do the battery connection wires go inside the metal buffer tube?

Thanks

Yes, they connect in the buffer tube.

Thanks for the post to my thread about the HK 416 stock. So since the battery wires go inside the buffer tube, how do you hold the buffer tube onto the gun....because their is that big washer and bolt that you have to screw into the back end of the spring guide in the gearbox. On my gearbox the battery wires comes out about 1.5'' in length and then theirs a tamyia connecter.

So I have to cut that connecter off, splice more wire onto it, slide the wire through the buffer tube and replace with a new tamyia connecter?

Thanks

2 things..

First, look here: http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=60410

I have pics on how to run the wiring. Read the whole thread. There's good info in there.

Second, the washer that's used to hold on a crane stock is not fully rounded. There's an edge cut off so that the wires can run freely in the stock. With the standard washer, you'll pinch your wires and cause a short circuit. You can mod the standard washer by dremeling off a part to allow the wires to run freely.
