Got suspicious when it wasn't DJ's original account sending out the message.

Yea, I figured the same, he left airsoft way back, I was like holy shit is it him?

I got it as well and was about to call him to say: "Wow, Daren - looks like the apple's fallen far from the tree..."

... and then I realized the name/account it was coming from wasn't spelled exactly the same.

I really don't get it. What's the point of spamming people? It's a complete waste of time! Idiots.

One person clicks the link, gets his unprotected computer infected with whatever crap they're pushing, etc... Many reasons for spammers to do shit like that.

I got excited when it said I have one unread message. I looked at the name of the link and I knew it was pron. They should come up with something less obvious like www.grandravinemutual.com sheesh.

As soon as I saw it was asking more that $20 for whatever tricks it was offering, I knew it wasn't him. He never changes his prices.
