Pistols Slide
 

I know that I live in the US but do you guys think that a slide would be a restricted item to buy from outside the US and have shipped? I know that lower receivers on AEGS are restricted but I don't know which parts of pistols are restricted.

I was pretty sure you could import anything to your hearts content into the US....airsoft & AEG wise. Slides and recievers alike....Am I wrong here?

The only two things I could possibly think he could have a problem with is if the slide covered the barrel and effectively "covered the orange tip", or if he lives in a state with restrictions on short barrel pistols and he ordered a short slide.

But that's just speculation.

Pretty sure you're ok to order nearly anything you could desire.

work with the TM Hicapa 4.3 even though its meant for the 5.1?

I wanted to make what Illusion had but his receiver was discontinued and the receivers are really expensive anyway and the gun that was a TM 4.3 had a stainless steel receiver.

Pretty sure you'd be fine with anything other than a full gun with trademarks (trademarks being the bad part) or a gun without a orange tip.

Gun PARTS i.e. slides and barrels and such, don't need an orange tip if it's not assembled on a gun. I'm pretty sure.

yep, you can import a receiver/pistol frame slide and barrel set without having to worry about Orange tip or trademark rule, just not assembled altogether on a gun....

BTW, I think you can use a 5.1 slide on the 4.3, you just need the 5.1 recoil spring plug and guide, and obviously 5.1 barrels and such....

It will fit with the appropriate supporting parts (as RacingManiac mentioned), but the 4.3's receiver will stop short of the end of the slide's muzzle. It just won't look right.

I think it'd look kinda cool, I've seen the 4.3 slide on the shorter 5.1 frame, kinda reminds me of a 226

a 5.1 slide on 4.3 frame would probably be similar, just longer.

for importing in the states just order the full gun form un company if you wnat trades have them put putty on them paint her up with a tip and then when it gets their clean it all up.

That rail on top is absolutely hideous

wha?... Oh, no, its not mounted directly to the slide, its a side mount, its just realllly low profile
