What Eye Protection?

Well I asked another question in another thread about what I should get... paintball mask or tactical goggles. I have no clue how many people wear each and the benefits between them... other than the obvious full coverage the mask gives you. What do you wear? Goggles or masks or shades? Feel free to post which one you wear and photos... and if you wear something else explain :D

I stated why right at the beginning of this one... not to compare the two different paintball masks I was looking at but to see what more people wear... what the norm is.

I voted for fun but really you don't have to start a poll to get this information. It is quite common knowledge that most airsofters use ballistic goggles, a search of the forums could have gotten you that information. Some people use shooting glasses but not all fields allow them since they don't seal to your face all the way around. Most paintball fields require you to use paintball approved goggles for insurance purposes. The only people who wear full face masks are those who choose to so they don't get bruises or welts on their faces. Mouth guards protect teeth without the need for a full face mask.

I wouldn't go with a full face mask. You'll find it's harder to get a good cheek weld with most AEGs and it's not really a great look. If you want to protect your face, you can use goggles and wear a shemagh or balaclava.

Most players in Calgary wear glasses when they're allowed I would say.

I use a full face mask. I found one that has a lot of flex so i have no trouble with the cheek. I also can't make my beautiful face getting all shot up :P

Nothing's more fun than having your face go numb from a shot to the nose from a Hi-Capa in CQB!
