Alright, here's the deal. I want to do a small side project for halloween. I found a crappy MP40 from Shorty's Airsoft in the States, and yes the gun is a P.O.S., but essentially all I am looking for is the MP40 shell only. Question: Will there be a problem shipping it to Canada? Or will Cutoms just kill it? The thing is only $12 plus $3 shipping, so loosing the cash isn't an issue for me. I'm just wondering if it will get here? It's a plastic body if that helps any.

If having a plastic body makes something not a Replica Firearm, Canada would be a Marui and JG heaven right now.

Yeah, it's gonna cost WAY more than $12.

And as for using an airsoft gun, springer or not, for a costume, I wouldn't go out in public with that.

I think that you might want to confirm with a mod if you should/shouldn't have, "For airsofters on a budget... cheap guns, goggles, BBs, and more!" in your sig.

Might not be your intent...but it'd suck either way to get banned over it.

No, it's $50, which is probably still cheaper than what the CBSA will charge you in inspection fees, GST and duty.
