Systema magnum pinion issue

Ok i got a ICS MP5 with all stock gears save the bevel gear which is an element. The problem is the pinion gear and the bevel gear are not meshing properly. The Element gear is identical to my ICS one which worked fine. However the Systema pinion gear considerably different than my ICS gear. Even when I play around with my motor height the gears continue to half strip, half shoot when I pull the trigger. Just wondering what my issue could be. Both bevel and pinion gear are new.

Thanks in advance.

ICS pinion gears are cut with a much sharper tooth pitch than pretty much anyon else's. Also, the Element bevel gear is not exactly the same as the ICS gear. ICS uses slightly smaller axle holes than pretty much everyone else. I'm wondering have you installed new aftermarket bushings, as the Element gear should be a tight fit in stock ICS steel or copper bushings, but the nylon ones may well be reamed out enough to work.

Ditch the Systema motor and use a Marui with an ICS pinion gear. Or change the gears, as well as bushings.

Dam I was scared someone was going to say ditch the motor. I might just do that. Thanks for the help.

Grab a new gearset. It will solve the problem.

Don't go with super torque-up or infinite torque, they interfere with the reversal latch release.

Also, if your shimming job is not done properly, it will shift the bevel gear too much one side and cause trouble.

KK I'll take it apart tomorrow and check the shimming of my bevel gear.

I shimmed it as far to the one side as possible and it still doesn't work. I thinking about ditching the motor for another. But all other motors seam to have the same type of teeth as the systema on their pinion gear. Even the tm's. It could be the element bevel gear. Does anyone have any experience with these?

What about changing the gears, which was already mentioned twice?

I don't have set but I am beginning to think the cheap element gears are the problem. Maybe ill throw some TM ones in.
