Best battery for MP5 sd5
 

First of all, I've tried to understand the post on batteries, but even after 3 deep reading of that post, I don't understand a thing.

Can anyone explain me (or just tell me, I don't mind) how batteries works and which one is the best for my mp5 sd5 (ICS) ?

The SD5 is a full stock, yes?

A 7-cell battery with SC (Sub-C) cells in odd-double arragement will work fine. I'm not sure what connector ICS has, probably large tamiya.

a large 8.4v battery fits fine. A large 9.6v can fit with minor modifications.

Should I just use a 8.4v or mod it for a 9.6 ?
And which charger should I use ? Cause I sincerely don't understand how thoses things works... I'm ready to pay more if it can prevent me from damaging my batteries if I forget them on the charger xD
