ca36 battery help

Hey guys, I'm getting a ca ag36 for my gun in due time, but I was wondering if there's enough room to fit sub-c or 4/5 (Elite's long and skinny ones) cells in the ag36, it would be extremely beneficial if it could.

Also, could the ca36 fit a 9.6v battery? I haven't found much on Google.
I'd prefer to have 9.6v because I've heard that the ca36 doesn't do very well with 8.4v.

Lastly, I do NOT want a v-stock on my gun...

No, you'll only be able to fit 2/3A cells, and its a tighter fit than the standard handguard, that being said you can fit a 9.6v Mini in an ag36.

Yes the ca36 all the way down to C length can fit a 9.6v mini. The ca36 will run fine on an 8.4v in a pinch, but thrives on 9.6v.

With a bit of work, you can fit some 4/5A cells.

You have to dremel the fuse holder area and some other parts around.

There is a guide on Uncompany about how to do it. But the advantage is not there. Better just carry a second battery in case the first one dies.

Hmm, I haven't found the guide for it, odd...

Though I'm guessing the space is taken up by something designed to support the whole launcher assembly.

An 8.4v works just fine in a CA36. A 1500 Mah mini in a stock G36 gives you a fire rate of about 12-12.5 RPS. The real G36 has a ROF of 12 RPS... so unless you want your G36's ROF to exceed it's real steel counterpart, 8.4v is fine.

There is no extra support, other than the fact where the launcher is attached to the new handguard. The CA, unlike the STAR, doesn't change the bolt assembly. Like I said, CA36 runs best on a 9.6v.
