Bulking a CO2 mag
 

I've got a KWC mini-UZI which is starting to eat through my CO2 powerlets at an expensive rate. I was thinking of getting a powerlet shaped thing with treads made and attaching it to a remote line and a CO2 tank. Anyone have any experience with this? This bulk setup is only gonna be used for basement plinking. I was considering the green gas adapter for the mag but I'll need weaker recoil springs which are not available. Any ideas?

First off, did you change your piston? That helps gas consumption a lot.

Otherwise there's that KWC CO2 adapter (as reviewed here), meant for regular GBBs, but you could use it with a green gas converted mag (or a WA Mini Uzi mag, maybe...)

I've heard that TM hi-capa piston heads are compatible. Any truth to this? I'm trying to avoid using CO2 powerlets all-together. I've considered green gas mags and adapters but they aren't very efficient and they don't have much power. Weaker recoil springs are required to operate efficiently with green gas but they aren't available. I'm trying find a way to connect a CO2 paintball bottle to the mag via a remote line or something...

Yeah I use the Shooters Design one, with some teflon tape (you have to wrap a couple of layers under the O-ring.. there's a detailed modification guide posted somewhere). I went from not being able to empty a full mag on full auto/fast consecutive bursts, to about 1.5 mags after the mod.

As for a remote... there's an adapter for the Drozd (that Russian [Baikal] full auto pellet gun), but you'd have to modify it to screw into the bottom of the Mini Uzi mag instead (offhand I'd say drill a hole through the screw-on cap arge enough to pass the probe, and then JB-weld it into place).

Actually, looking at that adapter... you could, as previously suggested, make your own. Get an empty 12g CO2 powerlet, drill a hole into the bottom and install a HPA nipple, drill a hole in the magazine cap, and just get a CO2 connector/valve/regulator thing with a high pressure line and connect it to it.
