airsoft battery question?

i just bought 2 airsoft nimh 9.6 v batteris to replace the ones that broke on my jg m4 with crane stocks because the wiring tore well anyways nether of the batteris work on the guns and they dont charge on etheir of the 2 chargers i have is it a problem with the batteries or is it the charger?

That depends on the charger and your batteries...

What's the rated output for your charger? Does it even support 8 cells?
And what is the capacity of the new batteries you got?

Airsoft connectors have the opposite polarity of what is found elsewhere, perhaps you bought batteries meant for RC cars, a multimeter should sort that out.

If it turn out to be the case, you'll have to reverse the wires.

Thank whoever designed your charger for being smart enough not to get juice flowing through your battery packs the wrong way around, otherwise you'd be dealing with a smoky mess.
