JG = Mauri compatible?

Sorry guys, I just have to have a quicky question answered before I but the JG MP5-J. That question is, can the jg mp5-j take mauri parts other than the mag. I have read some reviews and couldn't find a straight answer. Also if it doesn't can it take any after market parts?

Thanks.

I don't have one so you should probably wait for a proper answer before doing anything but I believe it is TM compatible.

Yes. JGs are called clones for a reason.

Not true.

I'm finding that they've cut corners in certain places making some specifically made for TM upgrade parts a pain in the ass (Prowin hops for one..)

remember multiplicity? they're like the stupid clone. They look identical but inside the parts are a liiiiiitle off.

I think you meant "True, but with exceptions, like Prowin". Vast majority of parts are interchangable.

There's way more exeptions like that.

Look at the modify gear sets, theyre are different sets, one that'll work in a bunch + marui, and another that'll work in a bunch + JG.

Because clones are inconsistent, you might be able to replace everything easily or it might be a bitch. I've had both from jg. Luckily the ones I own were easy. There's no definitive answer here, it will vary individually for each clone gun. But they are getting better.
Unless you have the experience and patience, you're better off just buying better stuff or buying a complete box.

and it's MarUI: MA-RU-I

not Maori.
There are no Maoris in Tokyo.(well maybe there are some but that's not my point)

:D

I've had trouble with aftermarket parts (Guarder, Systema) in CA, too, which by definition is a clone. G&G, G&P, KA anyone who follows TM's internal design and just change the outside are basically cloners. If you're going to warn about the incompatibility between aftermarket parts and gun manufacturers, the warning would apply to all guns manufacturers. It's a valid warning, don't expect aftermarket part to be always a 100% perfect fit. Do your research before buying.

Hold on a minute, what was that about the pro-win hopup bit? I've got one coming in the mail for the JG beta..., should i stick with the JG rubber?
