g36 - sl9 grip
Is it pretty easy to swap the normal g36 grip and stock for an sl9 grip/stock.
And also where might I be able to buy just the grip/stock, I don't awnt the full kit. |
well you need the body and the stock.. the G36 body isnt the same as the sl9 body..
|
arnt they all conected?
|
Solo36 is correct - the body on a 9 is different than that of the G36. The stock and body on each gun are two separate parts. You will need the kit.
|
The rear of the G36 Receiver is closed whereas the SL9 Receiver's rear area is open to allow for the fixed stock to fit. You'll need the SL9 Receiver to use an SL9 Stock.
This diagram will show you an SL9 Conversion Kit, and should also show you how different the G36 and SL9 Receivers are, and why the SL9 Receiver is certainly necessary given the size and shape of the Lower Receiver/Stock assembly. |
Would the Sl9 kit be considered a restricted item? It doesn't have the lower reciever, but I assume because the S/N on the real steal is on the upper it would be considered restricted?
|
Even if it weren't, you run the same risks of seizure as you do with all parts that bear a strong resemblance to real steel restricted.
At a quick glance there are currently at least two full AEGs/kits available in classifieds. |
ya well... i cant go to classifieds because the guy that is supose to be doing age verification in my area i cant get ahold of and i think someone took my info down said they could do it but havnt heard anything.,....
