I recall that a few members on the board purchased huang's AK-47 metal body and I've heard complaints about fitting issues and general quality issues. Anyone have any experience with these?

element metal bodies have fitting issues be prepared to do some dremeling and drilling

Agreed, the Element AK74 bodies have minor issues as well. If you're planning on installing a metal body, a set of files would be a good investment.
