Gun wont shoot.

When i pull down the trigger,i hear the "click" sound and the battery gets hot real quick, but the gun wont shoot.
I am guessing the motor isn't spining the gearbox?

Seized gearbox most likely?

TrueTGN March 12th, 2008 00:02

Could be a locked mechbox. I had this happen and before long the fuse blew.

8thArmy March 12th, 2008 00:06

any quick fix or checkup solutions : )?

TrueTGN March 12th, 2008 00:08

What kind of gun is it?

I had to take apart my M14 mechbox and reset everything to where it should be. Worked like a charm.

Again, im no expert but I think you'll need to get inside the mechbox!

open 'er up and check what could be causing the lock up

8thArmy March 12th, 2008 00:11

It's an Ultima MP44
which is using TM V2 M16 gearbox i belive.
It was locked up last night, so i tried again this morning, after a bit of shake and spank, it worked like a wonder!
I took the batt off and put it away; i got home some time later, put on the same batt and its locked again.

Thank you all very much for the replies!
I've figured out what the problem was...
The batt i have been using to test the gun was a cheap chinese (Hero brand) battery that came with my AGM MP40.
It is simply too cheap to turn my motor hard enough to shoot even though i fully charged it last night!
i charged my Sanyo 600mah for 20 mins and put it on to test my gun and it shoots perfectly smooth!
I didn't notice it was the battery because i put it on my mp40 and it was shooting normal.
Again thank you very much for your replies! cheers!

Same thing is happening to my Classic army g36 and mp5.
I was also using the crap MP40 battery, but the problem is that i still don't have the intellect mini battery here to test to confirm if the problem is indeed with the battery and not with the guns gearbox
