G&G GR25 SPR Upgrade

Hi I want to upgrade my G&G GR25, the fps could need some improvement, doesn't has to be 400fps but 350fps would be ok. :D
Wich parts should I upgrade? I don't know so much about AEG's yet.
I can't find specific G&G GR25 parts...

thx !

There are no specific GR-25 parts because it's an armalite, so it'd be SPR parts that you're looking for if you're after cosmetics, for FPS I'd start with a spring, M110 I guess to bring it up, wouldn't need to get new gears or anything if it's an m110.

Intressting , but I dont find any G&G upgrade kits ...
like you have from Guarder, systema for TM

Any of those around like for standard G&G's ?

does anybody know G&G stock spring power for GR25?. is it m90 quivalent?. How about if modified to M120, do we need new set gears, piston head, cylinder head and gearbox?.

cos i m doing modification on my friends gun now, and i m wondering if m130 can fit and will not shatter anything?. Thanks everyone

You wouldn't WANT a G&G full tune up kit lol
If your just upgrading the spring, buy a systema M100, thats around 350fps for you.
If you wanted it to shoot 400fps, I recommend a new gearbox shell, piston, piston and cylinder head, bushings, and gears.
It might be better for you to buy a systema complete mechbox if you can afford it.

Check to make sure that the gearbox is in fact a standard Ver 2 and not the elongated Ver 2 used for the G&P SR25, etc. They use a longer piston and cylinder, and are not interchangeable with others.

Get a spring and leave it at that.

Its version 2 except it has a longer nozzle.

i opened the gearbox of GR25. It already has metal bushings and it;s v2 kind, except it has longer air nozzle and cylinder head. Everything else inside are good. I think the piston is polycarbonate already.

So would m120 spring need new sets of gears, piston, gearbox case, and motor?. Can the original sets handle m120?.

Yes the stock gears can handle M120.

I wanna buy a scope now because without, my gun does shoot straight but i can't aim good ! :D
is a 3-9 scope good? would 6-24 be overkill?
the diameter then, is a 40 good?

Styrak June 7th, 2008 15:23

6-24 would be WAY too much overkill for an airsoft gun. 3-9 is pushing it, but a lot of people use them.

Would the "3" position be dreally zoomed in?

3, 4 or 5 would probably work. Any more than that would probably be useless for airsoft cause you can't shoot that far! You could use it for spotting though.
