sorta....

its a toy soldier, meant to just hold a frs inside of it. but my shitty cobra didnt fit...so i made it my radio. still waiting for my real bowman to get here to wire that up.
i put wire through the antenna too so i should get alot better range then the original in the trees.
i know it doesnt really compair to the looks of a real on but it sure looks better then a little frs antenna sticking out of my pouch
i did it pretty fast, wastoo lazy to extend the volume/on off knob...thats what the hole on the side is for.
what a think?

Nice hack, something I've thought of before but never got around to doing. Make sure if you decide to keep it that way, remount the radio w/ some silicone sealant so water/rain can't get thru the holes in front.

wow thats a pretty awesome mod dude! do you know how to rewire radio accessories? i really want a splitter for my talkabout so i can use my throat mic to talk and my sordins to listen but i dont know anyone who remotely knows how to do this...

that prob wouldnt be too hard. just post a thread asking and someone will be able yo do that for a small fee for sure.
