are throat mics ne good?
im about to make an order for a radio set up, but im confused as to whast better, a throat mic or a boom mic. i know i will be doing a lot of whispering into the mic mainly because i may be on some missions that require me to be silent, but other games i might be screaming for backup. what would be best or what is the best application for each mic setup?
Thx Danny |
sorry for posting in the wrong thread. i wasint thinking.....

Throat mic doesn't allow ambient noise to add to your signal, so it's very clear, I can whisper in mine and people hear me just fine.
But It's gonna cost around 100$ for a good one, the IASUS NT2 is decent if you have the right pin for it. NT sniper pro is really good too. |

I own a throught mike from OTTO, and spend $500 for it.
Unless you have a skinny neck (defined) and you make sure it stays in the perfect "sweet spot" you will be fine. Any movement and its crap. Even with the high end stuff. |

I move around quite a bit and my mic works great. |
