MGS 4 chest rig
 

I am trying to figure out what chest rig solid snake is using in MGS 4. So far I think its a cutaway or armor carrier like the black hawk S.T.R.I.K.E. Commando Recon Chest Harness or a S.T.R.I.K.E. Cutaway Plate Carrier
(coyote tan) With added S.T.R.I.K.E/MOLLE pouches. It is a pretty good match but the back is very different. Is this the closes thing to his gear? If anyone has a better match I would like to hear it, thanks.

heres the back. I guess any cutaway/plate carrier chest rig would do (not an exact match) .. but i would like to know if the games version was an actual chest rig or based on that type.

you could always email konami good chance they could tell you i'm sure they're got tons of emails about it.

they come with the strap for h.
an h harness is 300x more comfortable, it distributes weight better and there is no way of cutting into your neck.

rig aside...have you guys heard that they delayed the release of MGS4? Sad panda man...

so the suspenders in the middle are seperate as is the rapple harness. I hope the delay is for a good reason. oh and what the hell is in the middle of the bib?

It appears to be a Blackhawk Industries admin pouch(Note the integrated pistol mag pouch along with two loops of paracord), if you're referring to what's at the top of the bib. The suspenders are HSGI's High Speed Low Drag Suspenders, btw.

Blackhawk STRIKE recon vest for sure. Not the Eagle version, you can tell by the buckles connecting the shoulder straps to the vest itself. And it looks like HSGI suspenders being worn underneath. Pretty cool,
