Gears of War

2 Attachment(s)
okay guys, heres the deal, i was playing halo 3 with my nephew, and got tired of kicking his head in, so i switched to gears of war, and from the very beginning i fell in love with the armor and weapons, so much so that i think it would make, if nothing else, a really cool set of airsoft gear, but it'd be mostly for urban fighting, or i could give it a paintjob and make it for woodlands, anyways heres the question. Is there any gear out there that might give me a leg up on this? i have attached some pics for your viewing/visual aid. by the way i have a bandana and goggles so i am set either way.

Anything like that would be custom made or horrifyingly expensive! Your best bet is to make it yourself, however, with armour like that it would take a lot of research, time and money. Good luck tho.

AS a old Medieval armor smith.. You could ask any medieval smith to do it custom for you.. They should range about 2000$.

gotcha, so do it myself out of plastic and aluminum , cause no way in hell can i afford 2k for some armor, least of all when i still need an AEG. thanks anyways. i will try to make it, i will post pics when i have them , but don't hold your breath, this is gonna take some time.

Keep in mind Red Tiger is probably costing it out based upon how much it'd cost to suit him up................. and he's a HUGE guy, like 7ft tall and easy 280lbs..............extra metal involved equals extra cost.

Ok, I'm kidding, he's only about 6'6" and 250lbs or so. Lol ;)

You should start taking steroids to get up to the correct size.

actually your idea might not be that far out of reach. take a look at some downhill mountain biking armour like "daineses" or "rockgarden" look at riders like "joshua bender" he's kinda armoured up like the gears of war dude anyway! some creative painting and trademarks patches could be removed from an added effect.

Goodl2ussian November 15th, 2007 18:06

that trojan thing....i...dont even know what to say.

bear mace?? built into the suit? You have to be like...withing a 1 foot range to use that. Where are you gonna put your ammo. Worst idea ever.

Okay...so i lied i do know what to say =\

Moderate November 15th, 2007 19:17

That suit looks pretty badass, but instead of bear spray he should have two 3 foot blades pop out of his forearms and a self destruct button just in case he doesn't want to be ripped to shreds by the covenant...

Ozles November 15th, 2007 22:36

okay blades yes, covenant... wrong game entirely

snakeeater November 16th, 2007 00:08

I skimmed through this post and got something about a plastic gears of wear with bear mace.
