Radio Programmer

I require somebody in Canada that can reprogram my radios!
I've got 1 Kenwood TK350 and 2 Kenwood TK350G's that need to be reprogrammed to either regular UHF channels OR better yet, to FRS channels.

I have the computer patch cord to hook them up, just not the know-how to pull it off (and I tried, but couldn't figure it out).

Anybody up to the task?
PLEASE?! I'll give you two bits of lint a paperclip for your troubles ;)

Are they UHF radios or VHF radios? I am asking because VHF can't be programmed to UHF or GMRS channels unless the radios are UHF/VHF.

Do you have the actual model numbers from the back of the radios? If they're compatible with my programming rig I might be able to do them up for you when I'm out for Xmas. Just a note, I won't program them in any illegal fashion (ie FRS freqs in a 4 watt transmitter, etc.).

They're UHF, and where would I find the model number? I've got the serial number...

They're supposed to have a small black or silver sticker or plate on them, usually found on the back of the radio under the battery. Some of the more recent models have the sticker on the inside for some reason. It should say something like TK-358/U, not just TK-350. The serial number would work too.

One has a corner torn off the tag, so it only reads TK-350, but the serial is 71200980. The other two are tagged as TK-350/G.

Thanks for the tip Jayhead, I'll go past on my way to work tomorrow and see if they're still around. :D

I haven't been to abbotsford for a year or so but I was born and raised there and that apex dealership was there for the last 10 years if I recall
