rebranded guns?

Alright, through all my reading, i'm understanding (and correct me if i'm wrong) that CYMA sells their guns to Aftermath, Palco, Gamo, and Firepower... IS this correct? Am i missing any? Are there any other brands that we should be putting a "buyer beware" note on?

I should also add that the "tactical Force" brand that buyairsoft sells is from Umarex... I've had some good experiences with Umarex pellet guns... But i wouldn't know about their airsoft line.

Coke is pepsi.

But yes, essentially you are correct with your chain of rebrands, as far as I know atleast.

i thought coke and pepsi are different companies. + Coke is WAY better than Pepsi (too sweet imho).

let the war begin.

Oh no, its all made in the same building, flavours are adjusted slightly and small microchips are added to each beverage and once consumed they cause the drinker to be partial to only that beverage. There are a small percentage of people out there who have a genetic abnormality which causes them to not be partial to either due to the fact that this abnormality gives them a resistence to the microchip.

Rice Krispees and special K are the same thing.

Coke feels wierd in my mouth like I can feel it disolving my teeth. Pepsi is nice.

Also sometimes leaves a "film" on my front teeth.

Although Pepsi is better, screw both.

Oh and I don't think Firepower should be on the list, since Cyma gearboxes are metal, and Firepower ones are generally plastic.

Theres also Double Eagle, used to compete with Cyma, and UTG, which mostly rebranded both DE and Cyma, as far as I remember.

Firepower and CYMA are not the same company, unless Firepower's guns are CYMA's basterd children. Everythign I've read about firepower says their guns are 100%, pure complete crap, compared to CYMA's 0.27 and above which are *decent* for China clones.

Moz October 23rd, 2007 22:56

it works like this.

There are factories in china.

the CYMA/JG factory*, the Both elephant factory, WELL factory and a bunch of shitty factories.

Then Firepower, UTG, TSD, Cybergun, Echo 1 buy from these factories, sometimes they don't always buy from the same one, other times (like shitty cybergun) will buy ALL the guns and sell them as their own. Sometimes the same gun is sold by many different rebranders. The UTG MP5, the TSD MP5, the Crosman Pulse whatever, the matrix MP5, the firepower MP5, the kraken MP5 are all WELL Mp5s. THEY ARE EXACTLY THE SAME GUN WITH DIFFERENT TRADES PRINTED ON THEM AND SOMETIMES CLEAR)

Then you have cases were both the rebrander sells the gun and the original manufacturer. Firepower sells an XM8, which is a rebrand of the BE XM8, but BE sells there XM8 directly too, they are the same gun. Firepower, aftermath and TSD will sometimes order special clear guns, they are also the same gun, just no dye added to the plastic. (these guns are usually crap regardless of opaqueness) (CYMA 028 = Kraken, they just ordered clear ones from cyma)

Cyma sells there post 027 stuff directly, but all their springers and old LPEGs are still eaten up by these rebranders and sold as shit everywhere. That MP7 I bought it likely just a rebranded CYMA. Echo 1 isn't always JG/cyma stuff either. The Echo 1 MP5k is actually the galaxy Mp5k, which I have no idea where galaxy fits in.

There are a lot less airsoft manufacturers out there than brands.

*(Cyma and JG have family ties in the ownership)

Actually in our dental lab we tried with a extracted tooth and placed it in a glass of coke...guess what happenned after a week.......90% of the tooth was deteriated by the acid....

also did you ever clean your toilet bowl with coke....it works...lol, no seriously, I like coke it is my favorite, but very harsh....make sure you rinse with water then brush your teeth afterwards....

I have a P99 umarex airsoft, but it is clear, no good...umarex is only good in pellets guns like my walther CP88 tact. and the s&w 686

I think I'm ok... I don't clean my toilet bowl with my toothbrush.
