AEG basic upgrades tend to be the same all around, so look for tips in the Upgrades and Modifications section.

I have no opinion on the gun itself except the reviews I glanced at. You may want to use the Search function in the Reviews section here to see what crops up.

yes, you can increase your ROF but it depends on what you are willing to do and what the gun will allow you to do. The batteries are an option, so is a mosfet, a motor, high speed gears, and short stroking.

If you are talking FPS you should consider torque gears and a better battery or a mosfet. A torque motor might be asking to much if you can't use a large type battery. You could also try increasing your FPS, with better compression, by enlarging the o-ring.

What Greylocks said.. if you're in Canada, you won't be able to import it yourself.
