Hop-Up Bucking Problems

Hello, I have been having issues with my Hop-up unit, especially the bucking. I recently installed a Systema tightbore with a Guarder improved bucking. Working insanely well for about 50 shots on semi and then I put it on auto and it jammed (two bbs in unit). In my attempts to extricate the BB ripped the bucking. I purchased a new one and I am seeking advice on how to properly install my bucking. Also, should I lube the barrel/bucking on the inside with silicone oil? Thank you

Jeff

When installing the bucking on the barrel, just rotate it as your putting it on and it should slip on just fine. When putting the barrel with hopuprubber into your hopup chamber grease the outside of the rubber and rotate as you push it in, there shouldn't be any resistance.
If you grease the inside of your hopup rubber it loses its grip on the BBs and you won't have any hopup effect until you've shot enough BBs to dry the rubber.

I had the same setup (Systema TB + clear Guarder bucking) in my CA36. Shot beautifully straight, but jammed to no end. I'd recommend trying a different brand of hopup if possible.

Systema hopup rubbers are good. If you can find a prometheus rubber, buy it instead.
