Lubing AEG magazines?

So some of my G36 magazines are starting to seize up a little bit and not want to be filled to full capacity. I was wondering if you could apply a drop of silicone lube to it to loosen it up a little bit? Or better yet, if such an action is recommended or shouldn't be done.

They used to just let the BBs slide in nice and smooth, but now you kinda have to fight with them to plunge the BBs in...and I'm not over-filling them, so don't worry about that.

Thanks.

turn the little cover on the bottom and pull the spring out and lube the forwarder and the channel

Lucky you, I just gave instructions on that not even 20mins ago!

Ahh, neat-o. Yeah, the gun shoots fine, and the mags feed fine, they just seem to seize a little when you try to load them. I'll try your suggestions. Thanks.

What I do with mine is I take a long wooden Q-tip, find them in the drug store for about $2 for a pack of 200, put some oil on the tip and run it up and down inside the nozzle of an empty mag. I do it before any game and never really had any problems.
