Zing!

Now being serious... Depends on the game, some will use just glasses/goggles others will use full PB facemasks. The safest bet out there are PB goggles; these can be used on any field, and you can cut away or modify them however you wish as long as the actual goggle part is there. Some of the PB companies make modular ones that you change to suit your style/game. Personally I have two pairs of goggles, both are PB but one has the faceshield taken off, the other is the so called modular ones. I use just the goggles outside typically and the faceshield indoors. That is to say, I used to. One of these days...

thanks, what people are used to play with

I use a full facemask/helmet that's meant for paintball. That way, I don't get any BB's in the face or any teeth shot out! It looks like this:

For the last 5 years, I've used cheap thermal Winchester paintball goggles from WalMart ($20) with a custom-built fan ($7) to eliminate any chance of fogging in high humidity. Works like a charm, and I never worry about my eyes.

If you wear a full mask, be prepared to not be able to use the gun's sights, unless they're REALLY high. I wear a pair of Uvex Tac-1 Goggles, and nothing more.

One of the guys I play with uses the ESS Turbofan Goggles and swears by them, but they have a $220 price tag on them. Everyone else uses Airsoft Mech-Goggles, which I tried out, and they're not bad once you get used to looking through a screen. They're heavier than regular Goggles though.

Only one of the guys actually wears the full mask, but he melted the right side of it down so that he could still aim while using it. It too is an Airsoft Mesh Goggle/Facemask, not a Paintball mask. You can get them from Xtreme-Tactics.

The only time a full mask would be a must is if you're doing CQB with 350-400fps guns.

Thanks! It's nice. I took the visor off for my last game though.
It's been useful, since most of the time, I get shot in the head :P
