Mosfet and Aug Trigger

Has anyone successfully installed a mosfet switch with the aug two-stage trigger? Being able to retain the half/single full/auto functionality?

I have a TM Aug A2 and although it's in good condition now, I am worried that down the line the contacts on the two stage trigger are going to corrode away due to the arching.

Even if you haven't had experience with doing this any input or informed expertise on the subject of Mosfets would be appreciated.

I mounted a mosfet on mine and it works very well.

Kos-Mos got me that mosfet, it was all wired and ready to use, try PMing him, he's like the mosfet guru :)

wait: did you actually mount a mosfet and lost the single/auto function?

I haven't made any changes yet. Wanted to get all the information necessary beforehand so that I wouldn't screw anything up when it came time to do the upgrades. Is your Aug a CA or TM?

it is a TM civilian.

you need to wire it properly (easy) and manage enough space/air around it so that it ventilates gently.
