TM 357 not loading gas

Heya all,

last time I emptied it, my 357 was shooting perfectly.
now when I try to add gas in the tank, it just goes pchh and freezes the gun's grip.
when I remove the gas bottle, it still goes pchhh for a while, and nothing happens when I press the trigger :(

any idea what is wrong?

thanks a lot!

If the venting is coming from the gas probe, it's probably that the seal around the gas intake probe has dried out or the probe itself isn't screwed in securely.

ok THX I'll check that out.

The gas resevoir has an O-ring between the main part of the tank and the end cap (where the fill nozzle is) You can do 2 things but it involves a little dissasembly, either try and tighten the cap to the tank a bit (Righty Tighty - Lefty Loosey) or you can take it apart and find a silicon oring to replace the original dried out one

okay so apparently, it's leaking from the gas probe (the gas-loading thingy?) after the tank has been filled: the gun shoots properly but all the gas escapes at the bottom of the grip.
I've taken the whole thing apart and tonight I'll check the parts at the bottom of the gas tank.

thanks for your help!

I just had that problem with my Colt Anaconda. The oring was looking very dry, so until I find a replacement I used a thin strip of plumbers teflon tape around the threads. Not too much because they're very fine threads, but it work well...

ok thx!

OK so apparently the O-ring at the Fill nozzle-end of the tank (bottom of the grip) looks dry and damaged, I will take care of that the way you explained.

Now I noticed two things:

1. the green gas bottle I use :
http://azoutdoor.net/media/catalog_i...REEN%20GAS.GIF
has a valve problem and ends up spraying most of its content on the pistol's grip.
Could it be cause for the O-ring's troubles in the first place?

2.When I try to fill the tank, gas leaks out, but I can't be sure if it's leaking from the O-ring or from the valve (tiny filling tube + valve cylinder and stuff inside)
Does it ever happen that these parts break ?
