Getting from Toronto to Wasaga beach

??

Viperfish September 23rd, 2007 18:54

base borden?

seems to me your best bet is to car pool, then you dont need to worry about lugging all the gear around with ya. however im sure there are ways of getting to areas like that via coach, but like i said your better off to try and car pool with someone, be alot faster.

where abouts do you live?

and yes im in the same boat as you, only i dont wanna go out as much cus my guns are ummm well lets jsut say you never hear mention of the gun brands i got on here.

Can't get a bus direct to Wasaga as far as I know. Close as you can get is Barrie. There are quite a few people though who go into Wasaga from Barrie to play so you might be able to hitch a ride with them.

I think there's a Go bus station there last time I was there

Syn September 23rd, 2007 21:16

Greyhound bus? But that costs $$$

If you were old enough, budget car rental for the weekend: party, playairsoft, go sight seeing, fishing, etc. Split the cost between 4 guys it becomes a cheap weekend. We would rent a mini van with 4 guys and sleep in it at night when on far away fishing trips, sometimes brought the tent along and made a small camp.

well ill tell ya what, when i get my next shipment of midlev guns and actualy feel that i can go to a game without getting laughed out of the place, id be more then happy to take ya with me, however the guns wont be ehre till around nov.

however, i do plan on gonig out to some of these games and taking some pics so if ya want i can let ya know if im heading up that way.

you should look on the go transit site they will have a full lsit of system maps that will tell you where everything goes, but dont be surprised if it takes ya afew hrs to get out there

Sounds awesome man. We can discuss more about it though.

Btw, you ever been to Acton with Brian and the TTAC3 group?
Acton is not too far though (near Georgetown and Brampton?) so it shouldn't be as much a transportation problem as Wasaga beach.

negative, most of my airsofting has been done with the military when they setup a kill house in the bottom of the armory or just over at my buddys place (he owns a farm). I dont take my guns to any places like that in fear of getting laughed out of the place.

ummm..... whats wrong with your guns???

well a Neonfire G36 isn't a very good gun, nether is a Remington TAC-1 (black not the clear one) the list gets worse and worse as ya go.

I got them mainly as a way to help me find out which kind of gun i liked the feel of in an airsoft ver, that and there fun to pink around with, but nothing for hardcore playing.

Where in Barrie or Wasaga???

I've tried doing research and stuff about transporation to Wasaga, and all I can ever get is "take the highway" directions lol.

No bus station in Wasaga. Not sure but you may be able to get a bus to Collingwood... a little closer but still you would need a ride.

Viperfish September 24th, 2007 09:33

actualy the Neonfire G36 is great, got some good feel to it and seems very solid and for a gun shooting at around 180 its got some good distance with .12. I guess ill have to drop by one night and play around abit.

Best bet is the GO to Barrie and then car-pooling the day of. The GO does not travel any further north than Barrie unfortunatly. So you'd have to get the Greyhound ($$$). As previously mentioned, there are a few of us up here. Next time there is a game you want to go to in Wasaga, mention in the game thread that you are taking a bus to the Barrie terminal and ask if you can be picked up from there. Its a central location in the city. Any other questions, shoot me a PM.
