CA G36/G36k front sling attachment

How come the CA G36/G36K lack the front sling attachment? It's supposed to be at the very end of the handguard, below the barrel. You can see it on this photo:

What would be the best alternative? I know I could get rails and a rail sling mount, but that's way too expensive just to attach a sling.

I see a lot of G36c "sling pins", but where on the gun can you use them exactly? Does it replace the pin that holds the handguard?

I guess the easiest, cheapest solution would be attach paracord around the handguard holes.

I used to use a keyring around the handguard holes.

Won't it damage the plastic in the long run?

I think its because the airsoft version is too weak and it would break, I think you can buy the sling attachment for the front (G36c style) but you need either a spacer or a weaver rail to mount it on due to the way it attaches

I never noticed any problems, the CA handguard had more than enough give to not just crack under the strain. Most of the load is on the rear sling point anyways.

I don't use a sling with my G36C anymore, though. It's carabiner'd to the vest now.
