Overnight game?

Do you guys do nighttime games? and if you do are they much fun?

I'm thinking a VIP protection type scenario taking place over several days with frequent attacks on the VIP compound both day and night.

The persons guarding the compound would have limited resources, including people, but have the defensive advantage, wheras the attackers would have unlimited food/ ammo resources, but would probably have to run a gauntlet to get in.

Night games kick ass. Zombies has been the best one i have ever attended. Z2 should prove to be even better.

Edit: Scratch that, internet debates/confrontations are pointless. It's just easier to ignore the dumbasses/trolls/flames/kids and say good night everyone!

with the very limited number of fields available to the Greater Toronto Area we'd actually like the noobs to attend a few games before they go and try hosting...we had some issues with long term field owners just because of noobs trying the hosting thing out within a game or two of their first experience.

Yes there are enough dumbasses/trolls/flames/kids on these boards.

but the valid point is still there. New guy should attend a game or 10.

Also for the new guy who started this thread, interesting idea, been done too.
Night games are a whole different creature than day games. and my zombie series is even a different type of game then a normal night game.

Several days maybe to long. A 24 hour game maybe, Im to lazy to play for more than that.

Played a CQB situation at night in a castle once... It was awesome. Like your average CQB but with 4 levels. If you want to organize one, go ahead, man. More power to you, and yeah, go ahead with a 24 hr game, they rule. Just makes sure you have lights, if not you're just screwed. On the plus side no one can see you, but then you cant see shit if you havent got a good light.

Of course we do but most of us dont do any of that corny CS type scenario stuff. Usually we played a game involving having to hold a certain amount of bases on a field using glowsticks to know who controls what.

BUT the Best are the 24hr (sometimes just night-time like BL2) vietnam games, one of which coming up this weekend. Nothing beats having to eat, sleep and s*** in the field all with the game never stopping.
