Hi guys i was searching for information and came across your site, looks like a nice place so i thought id join, My real name is Andrew, im 20 and live in Arizona in the US, ive been playing airsoft for a little over a year now and am currently running with a Tokyo Mauri M4 S-System and a KJW Glock 23, my CQB weapon of choice is the Tokyo Mauri MP5 PDW that is modified with an M-4 Stock. I Currently work at my Local library but have been training to be a police officer for about 6 years. Well i didnt see an introductions page but i thought that id go ahead and do it anyways.

Well hello there. Don't expect any recommendations on stores or prices, because this is Airsoft CANADA, where we pay 3 times as much for the same gun as you would, :P, but I suppose the information will help you. :D

I just paid $450 for a used AUG with a hicap.

Here you'd be lucky to get 200 USD for a used AUG. you guys ever thought of buying from US Buyers near you? im sure you have. If you dont mind my asking, why does airsoft equipment cost so much?

Our border lists airsoft as replica firearms which are prohibited in this country so they are seized at the borders.

No. We've never thought of buying from the US, or directly from suppliers overseas. *smacks head*

that's crazy, what they have essentially done is given retailers a Monopoly on airsoft weapons, im sure its for the best somehow but sucks for you guys. I wish their was something i could do for you guys.

Well the fact is, there is really only two places that sell guns here now, and one of them sells only limited quantities (imports a few per month or two).
