Must...Stop...Spending

Newest addition to the family. CA M24
Picking up a scope and bipod as soon as I can find ones I like.

edit - Picked up a scope. Bushnell 3-9 X 40 hunting scope. I figure a real mildot scope is un-needed for airsoft.

And the entire family..

M15A4 SPR - Waiting for flip up front sight.
Glock 19 - Waiting for new sights
CAR15 - Complete write-off of a gun. Trying to get it fixed as my CQB gun.

Works for me :)

That looks like LUTNIT's old M24.

Nice collection :)

attack-beaver June 4th, 2007 14:54

works! very nice man.

stokes June 4th, 2007 14:55

You'll never stop spending... I have said that plenty of times but there is always something out there you'll want... DAMN AIRSOFT!

BTW nice collection :P

I've always liked the Car-15s. Those oldschool ARs just look soo bad-ass.

(Eh, stokes! check out the new banner!)

I said the same thing about $24,000 ago...

Nope, LUTNIT sold that to Krooked, THEN told me he put the M24 up for sale. Hey that reminds me, still have to kick LUTNIT's ass for doing that. Also, LUTNIT did vertical paint lines for his paint.

Still, nice collection, and yes they grow, and then you look at your wallet and cry.

LUTNIT June 4th, 2007 16:46

What wallet? After it became empty I sold it to buy more airsoft via EMT's.

I am brand new to bolt action airsoft rifles, and I do want this thing to perform.
Any suggestions on what to upgrade internally? Aside from a scope and bi pod I have no clue what to do with it.

The CAR15 is a sweet litte rifle but it is a complete piece of garbage right now. The motor won't turn the gears, the mechbox is cracked, it needs new wiring and a front end. Eventually I will get it working. But I want to concentrate on my M24 for now since my M15A4 is done (once the front sight arrives in the mail)

Thanks for the comments. Before I bought my first AEG I said "I am only going to buy the one."
HA! That lasted long.

Updated pictures.

I need to match the paint on the scope to the paint on the gun. Any suggestions on how to do this? I did not paint the rifle.

Stalkers CA M24 upgrade guide:

No real way to match the paint without finding out exactly what paint he used.

Dracheous June 5th, 2007 23:09

mask off the lenses and base coat it OD. Pick up Krylon OD, Tan and Black at your local Canadian Tire, and just match up the pattern. It looks like you'd just do vertical strokes with the can to match up the areas.

You could always remove the bolt, tape up the trigger/mag well/hop up area/and the rubber stock and repaint to get a new pattern with the scope mounted to it to get the same follow through.
