Chinese knock off aeg's
Would you consider buy one of the newer chinese "knockoffs" coming out onto the market?
|
This would be referring to CYMA, DE,, WELL, etc? Or unnamed brands?
|
Yea, its referring to those Brands..
|
I wish I could vote for both "Yes, finally a reasonably priced alternative!" and
"Project gun time! / Strip them for parts", because both can apply. |
Ditto, but in Canada its nowhere near as worth it as in the US. Here they are about like...60% of the cost, there its closer to 30%...
Cheers, Alex |
I might consider one for a project gun. I wouldn't trust the gearbox though, personally

I would definatly use CYMA guns for projects. However, as previously mentioned, the internals would have to be replaced just because of realibility.
|
if there was nothing else on the market like it, lets say a SKS then yeah
|
Woot....cheap parts guns!
|
Voted yes, but if i could swap out the internals for something better then i'd be much happier.
|
I wouldn't mind getting one or two half decent ones as a loaner gun for friends. Personally I wouldn't mind that China brand L96A1, for its price, it's worth it as a display piece.
|
As Slater said "dude....its quality not quantity"
Quality wins, hands down. word has it, they are making a cheap alternative to LCD TVs....called the Etch A Sketch |
I would pick one up if the price was right and to just see how good they are. if
it is shit ill keep it to tease my cat. |
Parts / value.
I didn't intend to use this CYMA AEG I bought as a long term weapon for skirmishing but the more I learn about it's compatibility I'm considering upgrading it when it starts to fail. |
