Scope Decisions

I was wondering if anyone could help me with which scope would best fit a FAMAS preferably somthing that can zoom at least x2 or would a Red dot scope be best?

A red dot would work best.

Airsoft guns don't really have the range that requires a scope, althou a scope CAN be used.

Do a quick search and you'll find more info on this.

Thanks

I like both. I use a 3-9X scope for out door. I spends 80% of the day at 3 but its really nice to be able to see DEEP into the woods and see whats comming at you or if its your own guys.

For indoor go with a RDS with a big lense.

yeah for out doors a scope that can do more the 2 or 3X is nice to check out things from a distance

Thanks what about laser sights or a tactical light is there a monut i can purchase for it?

make sure you get a lens protector as well. Be crappy to spend a bunch of money and then it gets shot.

take a look through some galleries and the media section. Or search for threads of scopes or red dots.

Really, you dont want us to tell you what to get...What I do, is poke through galleries until i find something I like.

Guarder makes a really nice scope that goes from 1-4x it has rails on the sides and above as well, which will allow you to mount flashlights and laser sights as well, i think that would be a great choice for a famas.

Lasers are not allowed in many places, and in most weather conditions they point right back to where you are.

I find them useful for CQC, but yeah if you need to use a scope in the field you wont need a laser. And as well check that your field allows lasers, io players are playing with IR protective lenses.

Which Guarder would be best the ELCAN or ACOG? by better which is the best bang for my buck?

it mostly gets down to which one do you like. otherwise you could have 30,000 different "opinions" as to which one each of us like.

acog looks better IMO. i just ordered one.
