GBB recoil spring

hey guys

i have a hfc m190 special force full metal GBB that fires on airsoft
inovations propane adapter system.what i would like to know is,do
they make different strength recoil springs, lighter or heavyer.i find
the slide kicks really hard for soft metal and might start cracking.
also do they make GBB c7's or c8"s?.

thanks guys, DT

ps. i couldn't delete the other thread,i could not find the delete button

They don't make lighter recoil springs. From what i've heard HFC is similar to TM M9s, so you could try getting a stock TM recoil spring. However it might not be strong enough to move the weight of the metal HFC slide. The HFC is pretty tough, you shouldn't have any issues with the slide cracking with regular propane usage, just keep the GBB oiled regularly. And there is no airsoft C7s or C8s. If you want a GBB C7 or C8 rifle you should try looking for a Sun Project M4 gas rifle and do some modification work on it.

thanks grim, that makes me feel better knowing my hfc is durable to stand up to
propane.about the c7 upper and lower receiver all metal that you buy on this
site, are they the same shape inside as the real deal or just look real on the
outside? .

thanks DT:cool:

does any one have a pic of the inside of one of these receive,i might hop
on the lathe and see if i can make a GBB unit myself.
on the sun project thing though,is that a product name or company name.
