If you could have any of these guns.

ok so as most of you might know I am new to airsoft.
I am just getting started and am looking for guns the only thing is I can only get them from this one website because I got sponsored by them for my bike riding.
So in other words I am getting them for free. of course I will upgrade some of them later.

I know you guys know a lot more about airsoft then I do and was wondering if any of you have some free time if you could go to this website
www.usg2.com and pick out 2 gbb guns a sniper rifle and 4 aegs.

I know guns are a personal perefrence but I would at least like to know what you guys would do in my shoes.

Let the flaming begin!

This place is god damn expensive for a US Retailer.

And not like there are that many choices for AEG and Sniper Rifle.

GBB

Sniper Rifle

AEG

*I would probably take 2 M4 and 2 AKs if you can get 1 or more of reach.*

I think those prices are sugested retail.. from what I understand they sell mostly to dealers.

I was thinking about getting these guns what do you think?
I know these are not top of the line airsoft guns but do you think that they will be good enough for a nob like myself?

1-Read reviews.
2-For your intended use, pick models that are known for 100% dependability and ease of repair. Preferably full metal.
3-I cant choose for you beyond that.

Thanks

Graylocks,
I have read a lot of reviews and it seems that most of the ICS guns listed have fairly good reviews but thanks for mentioning the ease of repair I had not really looked into that so far.

I am very thankful that I found ASC this is a great learning resource and most of the people here seem to be really helpful as long as you are willing to do some research.

i would stay very much clear from the ICS AEG's, and stick to G&P, preferably a G&P with full systema/prometheus internals.

the ICS AEG's have a weird mech box design, i have seen some that works fine and some which are totally broken and will never work well, also thier hop up is very bad IMHO. and you can not change to another type of gearbox in them also. else i would reccomend any marui for a first time player since they work 99% of the time flawlessly from the box, but if you want to upgrade straight on they are a bit of a waste since nearly all the parts must be exchange to get at hi performance AEG.

If you're getting all that free, get the most expensive ones, resell them, and get the ones you want cheaper, elsewhere.

Cheers,
Alex

my question is because these guns have to be imported...how would you be able to buy them...would you have to go through ASC Armoury and have them order for you!?

Yep, you can email the retailers on the drop down list to order any gun you want from the US or Hong Kong retailers.

But before you can do that, you'll need to get age verified first. Also keep in mind that you'll have to pay a higher price than the listed retailer price from the US or HK since there are shipping, customs, brokerage and taxes involved for all importing.

Freedom Fighter December 9th, 2006 18:59

Okay, so a website that sells airsoft guns sponsors you as a bike rider and plans on giving you guns? What? Can you please explain that to us dunderheads.

I got a partial sponsorship from a local bike dealer years ago before my accident and they did not offer me any guns ... just bikes, and bike parts. I dunno, that seems to make more sense IMHO.
