Aug Tear down?
 

My buddy is planning on doing a Carbonfiber overlay on the main body of his Aug and he need to know someting. Is there any reason why the Aug has to be sepporated in half to get at the internals? This is not about the barrel hop up assemble but the main body, do you have to crack it open down the seem for any reason ie. general maintenance or if there is a break down in the mech box.

NO!!! You remove the pin in the rear , and everything should slide out! DON'T CRACK ANYTHING OPEN

i did not do ANYTHING untill i saw a few post. Thank you VERY much. It may have sounded like a dumb question but it would look way better if it was 1 continuous piece of carbonfiber insted of having a seem.
