RDS lens'
 

so funny story... i went to great lengths to aquire a 30mm rds scope (brand unknown) to mod into the optics housing of my xm8... got it did it, gamed it. about 3/4 the way through the day i went to sight in and thought "damn wet grass on my lens" went to brush it off and lo and behold its my lens cracked. DAMN! its still gameable and doesnt affect the dot placment, i caught the bb when i was behind cover with my gun down so it struck the bottom right of the lens, but im kinda a perfectionist and would like it fixed. it pisses me off as ive had my g&p m16 scope on my old m16, famas and now my xm8 and never have cracked that lens and its a 35mm...

now my question is how do you replace the lens and where can i get a replacment 30 mm lens? is there a specific lens (as the for lens is red hue and apparently has a uv filter)

Try a science supply store. Efston science in Toronto might have somthing has they have a whole load of different types of lenses in the store. Probably wont be on their website but e-mail them and if they dont have it they can either order you one or point you in the right direction. www.telescopes.ca
