Where can I find red gas in Vancouver?
I ran out of red gas last month, so i am in need of more supplies. does anyone know where i would find red gas in vancouver? because green gas doesnt seem to be anywhere near the pressure level of red gas. thanks in advance. :-D

What are you using this for? I use propane with an AI propane adapter and I can shoot 360fps with 0.20's with a stock gun on a hot day, above 400fps on a really hot day, usually around 320-340fps on a warm day. I've never heard of people using red gas outside of Asia so I really have no idea what its like but if I can get these muzzle velocities with propane (same PSI as green gas I think) then I wouldnt want to use anything more powerful for safety reasons.

Look in to propellent for airbrush equipment. I believe it's R22 and should be the same thing as red gas.

No more. LetraJet is discontinued.
I note that my bottle of ET1600 exerts more pressure than R22 does at 3 temperatures. It's also similarly flammable to propane so I suspect it could be a blend of propane and ethane. I can't say for sure as I haven't done any spectroscopy or density measuring. |
