hop up defying gravity.

I HAVE SEARCHED. Quick question, on a stock TM G36c, well on my m4a1 too, ive noticed that when the hop up is up, the rounds arc upward as if there defying gravity. Is this standard, or is there something i should be doing?

bean August 27th, 2006 19:40

Kyle it is putting a back spin on the bb causing it to arc up. You noob

Blastyman August 27th, 2006 19:43

turn it down so it doesn't fly up as high. sheesh! lol

Tankdude August 27th, 2006 19:50

Read the manual you falking tool!!!!!!

bean August 27th, 2006 19:51

i think a 21 bb salute out of my vsr into his side is a good punishment for sucking at life

Kuraitenshi August 27th, 2006 19:56

Why would he want to read the manual when he can ask and get smacked for not reading the manual here?

Kerbosa August 27th, 2006 20:52

You don't even have to read the manual. God knows I can't. Look at the pictures. They tell all.

porry August 27th, 2006 21:02

the little nubbin sits above the bb, and pushes down, putting a sping backwards on the bb, making the bb go upwards when exiting the barrel

Amazing KG3 August 27th, 2006 21:31

okay woaw. First of all, i know how hop up works, second of all, i never got a manual for any of my AEGs, third thanks for the help, i didnt know you could have too much hop up, and forth, bean we all know your 1.5 metre VSR is just compensating for your sorry excuse for a unit. And why do all the people i play with have to reead my n00b questions!

bean August 27th, 2006 21:33

so we can laugh at you for eternity its just like konigstiger drunk lol

Amazing KG3 August 27th, 2006 21:38

hah, hes got an HK so hes alright.

ILLusion August 28th, 2006 03:34

This is normal... if you are turning your hop up way too high.

If there's something you should be doing, it's turning your hop up level down.

Amazing KG3 August 29th, 2006 18:06

Just to clarify, I know why a BB does what it does, i just dont understand why they would manufacture the hop up to go that high, and i didnt know if my dial was off or something. THAT was the issue. I said it that way so you all could understand what i was seeing. I know how hop up works. I appreciate all the good advice, it helped clarify, and also thanks for posting in this thread not the one in the trash which turned out to be a flame fest. Thnx freedom fighter for closing it.

It's so you can tilt the gun sideways and shoot around corners.

the amount of hopup needed changes depending on upgrades and ammo weights, not limiting it allows for a wide range of choice.
