BB Bastard NPT Charger Dead?

I'm probably going to have to take this over to somone who is comfortable with electronics, but my BB Bastard Charger seems to have died. I've only used it a handful of times to charge batteries, and wasted a lot of fuses before realizing the polarization of the wiring was backwards when it was sent...

But now; normally the charger's LED goes on even if there is no battery, toggles between green and red then turns off if there is no battery. I plugged the charger in, heard a loud pop and now there seems to be no activity. Plugged it into a different outlet and same result, no LED, but the body seems to get warm and the fuse is still fully intact.

I personally don't want to risk blowing out a battery or anything, but the area where you plug the cord into the charger seems to smell burning.

Any advice?

I would contact Scarecrow, and i would Not plug it in if you smell burning.

Captain Tenneal, if you send it back to me, I will replace it free of charge. All my battery and charger products have an unconditional 1 year warranty and you're well under the timeline for a failure.

There was a batch of chargers that went out that had the polarity reversed on the ADAPTER from small to large and I replaced those for a wack of people, but, if you're getting a burning smell thats something different and I would not trust the unit, just let me replace it for you.

You ship back to me, you can send it via regular parcel (cheapest way) and I will pay for Xpresspost and ship you a replacement. When you send it, send it via regular parcel with $100 insurance (cost $1 more) and PM me the tracking number, and as soon as I verify the tracking number I will XpressPost out you a new one - you should get the new one before I even get your old charger.

I am adamant that all my customers are happy with my products and that they work for them 100%. There is no excuse for a non-working charger.

I'll PM you my shipping address.

Wow, Tenneal's been charging my battery for me on it until it broke, but after seeing the service I think I'm going to get one too!
