My Systema PTW Diemaco C8...

I finally got my Systema Challenge Kit assembled. One of the things that I actually really like about the kit is that there are no trademarks, especially the fugly Systema one! That allowed me to get the lower receiver engraved with Diemaco C8 markings and my own custom serial number! (Done by Insignio in Langley- super nice!) I'm pretty pumped! :-D I also modded it, with a small internal micro switch which allows me to switch the fire selector switch's AUTO function between full auto and 3 round burst!

I also purchased a Pelican 1700 case for it, and I'm just finishing my layout design. When then foam is all cut out for my weapon and accessories, I'll post some more pics.

That's definately the hottest rifle I have ever seen on this site...
...I am not just meaning by FPS either.

That's definately a good job he did, I like that it has the worn look around the trades too... It just does something for realism.

Nice job man! Really loving the custom engravings. How much did that cost you by the way?

DuffMan July 26th, 2006 17:57

The 'P' at the top should be an 'R'. Sorry man! It shouldn't cost that much to get one line engraved.

Damn You! Your right. Don't know how that one got through quality control? Should be easy enough to fix myself.

$180 for two of them. The first took around 3-1/2 hours to tweek the artwork, set up the jig for the receiver and to figure how we were going to do it, exact location, testing, etc... The second one (for my buddy) took about 15 minutes.

Looks very realistic and worn. Great job.

Nice job on the kit. Now you know what I mean when I say "Once you hold a Systema, you're hooked".

I think the Challenge kit is the way to go and with "some assembly required" you can save a ton of cash.

Aww, hell, I guess I'll have to get one, too. Anyone want to buy some kids?

Tankdude July 26th, 2006 23:17

These kids of which you speak, have they been worked hard?

That is a really really really nice gun.
Simple and pure.

Polo609 July 27th, 2006 00:03

Sweet Gun. Looks really nice. As mentionned above, you just need to add an Elcan optical.
