What works best here?

Hey Guys. Me Again with another question :)

What Camouflage would work the best in this environment

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...n/S5000178.jpg

Just a Grassy field with some overhead trees. I want to get some camo that works here for a scene in my movie, I want my actor to be totally hidden somewhere. The movie takes place in the early 60's so Im torn between Flecktarn, Tiger Stripe, CADPAT, and British DPM, in that order. (to me DPM looks like someone took a dump on some leaves and made it a camo pattern)

I know CADPAT wasnt around back then, but its just for school, so shouldnt be too bad for time consistencies. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Goldman July 14th, 2006 18:35

Vietnam Tiger stripe, not the modern version, but the classic stuff from the 60's would work quite well there.

SKI July 14th, 2006 18:45

To be honest with you, it looks like plain OD would work in that environment.

MrEvolution July 14th, 2006 18:57

Plain OD, Gotta see what I can find.

Whats the difference between classic Tiger and the modern one?

-Skeletor- July 14th, 2006 18:59

The pattern is a bit different an the colors are different.

MrEvolution July 14th, 2006 19:23

is Vietnam Darker/Lighter?

Any other opinions are welcome.

Gordon July 14th, 2006 21:40

I'd just wear CADPAT.

Droc July 14th, 2006 21:42

cadpat, without question.

DIMES July 14th, 2006 22:08

cadpat

Greylocks July 15th, 2006 09:50

He said his movie is dated in the 60's.... no Cadpat then.

OD does work well.

(Be damned sure you got all the right permits to shoot a movie, if not you could be looking at MAJOR grief)

oh, missed the dated movie part.

dont get camo thats too effective, or you will only be filming the bush.

manchovie July 15th, 2006 12:37

auscam :)

swatt13 July 15th, 2006 16:38

tiger stripe or dpm id say. but good ol od would be best for a 60s movie.

Kokanee July 15th, 2006 17:39

Plain 'ole OD should work alright, but I agree with Goldman on the classic tiger stripe.
