kjw m9 firing problem

i have a kjw m9 and when i fire it i can only get the first 2 shots out of the mag does anyone kno why this could be?

Carvs July 4th, 2006 11:49

Does it stop shooting all together, like you are out of gas? If you completely filled it and you only get two shots out of the mag, you have a leak. Take you mag apart get new seals and lube it.

bobbyrod123456 July 4th, 2006 12:23

yea its stops shooting all together and i completely filled it

CDN_Stalker July 4th, 2006 12:25

How do you fill the mags, and with what?

bobbyrod123456 July 4th, 2006 12:29

i put the magizne upsided down and i fill it up and i use green gas

Carvs July 4th, 2006 12:58

Submerge the mag in warm water and see if any bubbles come from it. If you do, see where they come from. Take the mag apart and thats where the problem is.

EDIT:
Is there gas in your Green Gas container?

porry July 4th, 2006 14:33

ok, well they all jumped to conclusions before first finding out more info

Does the gas leak out of the mag, can you hear it? If it leaks does it all just spray out at once?

Take the mag, fire your 2 shots, take the mag and lightly press on the release valve, if there is any resistance then there is still gas in the mag.

So before you go and take your mag apart Find out if there is still gas in the mag after you shoot it twice, if there is no gas then fill the mag and completely submerge it in warm water, watch for air bubbles to come from a particular spot on the mag.

carvas there is gas in the container

and porry there is no resistance i am going to try the submerging in warm water and i will tell yall what happens

ok i put it in water and air bubbles come out of the top of the magizine where the gas comes out im not sure what that is called

Opea July 4th, 2006 15:47

ok, so you can push that button in no problem and no gas comes out? The bubbles are coming from the top rubber seal? or the valve on the side (the button you pushed) If its the top rubber seal that piece can be replaced if you can find one.

bobbyrod123456 July 4th, 2006 15:52

yes when i push in the button no gas comes out and yes the bubbles are coming from the top rubber seal. I have two mags and it does the same thing with both bubbles come out of the rubber part

porry July 4th, 2006 16:06

does that top rubber piece look damaged at all? It should pull out fairly easily, so maybe do that, carefully as to not rip it, and check for any sure signs of damage. Possibly what happened is that there was no silicone left in the mags for prolonged time and those top seals dried up.

bobbyrod123456 July 4th, 2006 16:19

umm they look fine from the outside and fairly easily no i cant get em out and if i have to replace them do you kno where i can get them?
also i tired the put them in water again and i few bubbles came out slowly from the button you push
