Spring Upgrade

How do you upgrade the power on a spring gun? Is it just the spring that is replaced?

BC_K July 3rd, 2006 09:28

Generally yes it is just the spring.

For which spring powered gun?

Dont want to burst your bubble, but it is.......in lack of any better terms, a peice of shit.

Enjoy what little amusement and life you may get out of it.

I'd say the other internal components of that gun would probaly shatter if you put in a higher power spring.

Are you shure? Have you owned one? I hear its realy goodall over.

It's a piece of shit. Deal with it.

The rof on isn't this gun's strong point. About the same as all armalites. The charging handle is located behind the sights. I can fire off 2 accurate shots in 3 seconds. I used a CA M15A4 and it was faster with the pump handle, but I felt like I was going to break it. The charging handle on this gun is very sturdy. Although it is a little hard to pull, it is smooth. I can charge using just 2 fingers off of either hand.
Is that reviewer comparing a spring gun's ROF to a fully-automatic rifle's ROF favourably?

RedSniper July 3rd, 2006 18:14

He is comparing spring to spring.

If the answer is not good enough for you (no), be free to try it anyway.
