M16A2 To "The Patriot"?
 

Would an M16A2 be upgradeable to something like this, found off of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater?

The basic idea is a shortened M16 front grip and barrel to a smaller "smg" type gun with a C-Drum magazine that fires a hell of a lot of rounds at a faster rate.

Would this be possible or would it take a much longer/harder proccess? I wouldnt want an exact look just a rough replica.

I think I would take an M4 front piece and either shave a bit off or leave it short, cause I dont want it to be considered a machine pistol. Then add a drum mag and add a shorter stock and upgrade the internals for a fast fire rate with a harder hit, nothing more.

Would that sound reasonable to do?
