GBB/spring maintenance
 

Hey there, I?m getting back into airsoft and have a GBB pistol on the way. I used to use something called Permatex multi-purpose synthetic grease for lubricating metal on metal friction like pistol slides. Can anyone tell me if that?s a good thing to continue using? Is there something safer? What about oils for lubricating o rings and other pistol internals?

I use permatex for the slide rails and a very very light coat on the outer barrel, and silicon oil for every other moving parts.
