A couple of those have turned up in the Warmonger's armoury the past year, they look and work well. Just to get a 9.6V battery in there, you have to snap off a plastic hook located in the front end, and then fiddle with getting the battery in, hooked up and grip back on again. Because the 9.6 batteries are about 1/2" to 3/4" longer (8 cells instead of 7) than an 8.4V, if you run an 8.4V you should be "A-Okay"!

Hmmm... the only Large Foregrip for the G36C i know is this one, which can hold a large-type battery.

Other foregrips are imho for converting the gun to a E oder K -version.

I personnaly have a bigger foregrip and I have in it a 9.6v 3000 MaH battery and this thing ripped. I have changed to metal bearings and an Systema MS-100. Honestly its incredible the rate of fire I can get.

did the foregrip change the look of the gun much? could you expplain it at all?

p.phresh March 6th, 2006 10:43

there isn't much of a change in aesthetics. It looks nearly the same from a side profile, but straight no you will notice the difference in width, and when you've got it in your hand you will know it's much wider in comparison to the stock one.

The grip is just wide enough to get a large 8.4v battery in. I'd recommend it. Prolly one of the best upgrades you can get for you G36c. Increased rate of fire and longer running times.

as well, only the G36 in the second picture has the oversized foregrip that will hold the large battery for G36c, the others are G36Ks.

sweet, i think it looks pretty pimp (the second one) thanks for the info, ill definatly get one.

Its a bit heavier overall cause of the bigger battery but for the rest its worth every penny!!

i just recently installed this on my g36c it looks great kinda futuristic(which im not a fan of) but its still a g36c so i like it and i can hold 9.6v 200mah in it and i only takes a few minutes of fiddling with to get it in but its so nice to have the ability to have large batteries now and as someone else said here it does become fairly front heavy and unbalanced

with this installed, what do you do about a sling mount, because i dont seem to see any rings anymore.??????

Mr Jon April 22nd, 2006 16:28

You can always pick up a sling hoop pin that goes in place of the handguard pin normally if you do in fact loose that ability to use the stock sling hoop.

p.phresh April 22nd, 2006 16:41

use a 1pt sling and attach it to the sling mount on the body.
As well, you can attach the OEM sling mount on the bottom rail.
