Simulating real magazine weights

Hey folks,
I'm curious if anyone else has attempted this previously.
I recently purchased two Boxes of MAGbrand Metal 190rnd M4/M16 magazines from ehobby. I'm looking to add weight to the magazines to weight roughly 15oz or round up to 16ox/1lb so simulate a loaded AR magazine.

This is purely for training purposes.

If you've previously done this, if you wouldn't mind sharing the modifications or weights purchased that would be a fantastic help.

Cheers!

Want heavy mags? Switch to gas.

A long time ago, some guy split them open and put some fishing weights with a bit of hot glue to prevent them from rattling around, but this won't work with all types of mags, some are glued, and the insides of mags are all different. You'll be restricted to the area outside of the BBs track , so with midcaps you might not have a lot of room.

And, as Danke said, use a GBB rifle, when they are full of gas, those mags are heavy.
